LBCC Parenting Ed is hiring for the 2023-24 school year!
Do you have a passion for parenting education AND early childhood education? There are currently openings for instructors interested in supporting parents with infants and toddlers. The Live & Learn parent/child classes meet for 2 hours each week through a 10-week term (Fall, Winter, and Spring). Instructors work within an emergent curriculum model to create activities that are developmentally appropriate for the children and develop parenting discussion questions that focus on the needs of the parents in the class. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, with the preferred discipline in Child Development, Human Development, Early Childhood Development or a closely related area, plus 3 years experience teaching groups of young children OR seven years of teaching experience in early childhood education or a related area.
