Who We Are

A committee made up of representatives from Linn, Benton and Lincoln Counties met on April 29, 2014 to select a Governing Board for the Early Learning Hub. Twenty-seven outstanding individuals were nominated for the board, and ultimately eighteen were selected to participate. The committee made it's decision based on the governance ideas that were expressed by the Early Learning Division or in one of the Early Learning Hub planning sessions or Governance Committee meetings. In addition, five members were assigned to the Governing Board as "Standing Members" to represent organizations with a specific role in this organization: Linn-Benton Community College, the InterCommunity Health Network-Coordinated Care Organization, the Oregon Department of Human Services, the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians, and the Linn Benton Lincoln Education Service District. This first round of Governing Board Members will serve terms of 2-, 3-, or 4-years, depending on their preference.
