Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments has teamed up Reinventing Rural and Linn-Benton Community College to bring a free childcare workshop to you! This workshop will be focused on rural cities across the whole state of Oregon.

Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments has partnered with the City of Albany to provide Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) to Childcare businesses with 5 or fewer employees. Applications may be submitted January 22nd through 28th.

Beginning Jan. 1, 2023, ERDC will start helping non-working students with child care, including registration fees.

This Oregon Family Support Network workshop-style training is designed for family members/caregivers of children living with behavioral health challenges who wish to develop their lived experience into focused advocacy stories to elevate the family voice and motivate systemic change.

The Office of Child Care (OCC) is revising the Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs) for Certified Child Care Centers. The Community Rule Revision Workgroup is a group of community members who will provide input and suggestions for these rules. They are seeking applicants, particularly parents. Participants will be reimbursed for their time. The deadline to apply is currently December 23rd at 5pm.
