There will be an informational presentation about a new childbirth curriculum in our region: Health Moms.  Join Rebecca Cabral as she shared about a childbirth curriculum that supports women from traditional cultures, immigrants newly arrived in the US, and moms with little to no English skills.

We are interested in hearing from families about their experience looking for and finding child care in our region. We are asking local parents to submit videos of sharing their experiences in their own words to help us advocate for increasing access to high-quality, affordable child care.

In a new study, Oregon families in three priority populations shared their experiences and insights about child care, their struggles to find high-quality, affordable care that meets their needs, and their actionable recommendations for how to improve Oregon’s early learning system.

In a press release on Sept 28, 2022, the Oregon Health Authority and Department of Human Services announced that Oregon received federal approval to pilot first-in-the-nation changes to the state’s Medicaid program over the next five years, including Medicaid funding for food and housing and continuous OHP enrollment for young children from birth up to age 6.

Oregon by the Numbers 2022 is now available. As Oregonians face new problems to solve, decision makers across our state find themselves needing not only high-quality data, but new kinds of data.
