The Child Care Infrastructure Fund

In partnership with the Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care and First Children's Finance, Northwest Native Chamber is hosting a technical assistance program to assist child care providers with their application to access CCIF Funds and technical assistance to assist their application of those funds.
The Child Care Infrastructure Fund (CCIF) is a competitive statewide grant program in Oregon, established through HB 3005 with a $50 million allocation to Business Oregon. The fund aims to support the establishment, expansion, and improvement of child care facilities across the state, with up to 25% of the grant allocated to language and culturally specific child care businesses. The Child Care Infrastructure Fund (CCIF) is a competitive statewide grant designed to establish, expand, and improve child care facilities across Oregon. With a total of $50 million allocated through HB 3005, this initiative prioritizes culturally specific early learning programs, ensuring diverse communities receive the support they need.
Round 1 Funding Update:
The first round of funding, totaling $10 million, was announced in November 2024.
Upcoming Round 2 Opportunity:
In Spring 2025, an additional $15 million will be awarded to selected applicants. If you weren’t selected in Round 1, there’s still an opportunity to apply in the next funding round!

Northwest Native Chamber and First Children's Finance are offering technical assistance to support applicants throughout the CCIF application process. This includes help with application support, business plan development, budgeting, business training and resources, translation support, grant spending plan and implementation, record keeping, and access to professional service providers such as legal assistance, digital marketing, CPA/accounting, tax consulting/preparation, bookkeeping, HR, and capital consulting.
