Bettina Schempf

Bettina grew up in Germany and lived in New Zealand for 13 years before coming to Corvallis in 2006. She spent her career working in small businesses, local government and the not for profit sector. Her passion and experience are in change management, project management and leadership. She holds an MBA from Oregon State University and a bachelor’s degree from the European Business School. Before joining Old Mill Center for Children and Families in June 2013 she spent five years as the Executive Director of Benton Habitat for Humanity.
Her current and past community involvement includes Altrusa International of Corvallis, CASA Voices for Children, Neighbor to Neighbor Mediation, Benton Habitat for Humanity, the South Corvallis Foodbank, and the Philomath Foodbank and Soup Kitchen. She previously served on the Advisory Committee for the Ten Year Plan to end Homelessness in Benton County and as President of Altrusa International of Corvallis.
