Ana Reyes
Early Learning Hub, Coordinated Enrollment Specialist
Ana is a first-generation Mexican-American born and raised in Southern California. At the age of 18, she joined the Marine Corps and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan, for most of her enlistment. Once she was out of the Marine Corps, she went to Fullerton College, where she got her AA in Psychology. She also attended CSU Long Beach for her BA, which she is working on completing. She was employed at the Veteran’s Resource Center for a community college for seven years. During that time, she was helping raise her nephew and learned the importance of early learning and child care. Moving to Oregon after the New Year in 2023 with her partner, she was excited to find a new community to serve and was hired as a Coordinated Enrollment Specialist.
When she lived in California, she loved to help coach her nephew in football and spend time with him. Now in her off-time, she loves to spend time with her partner exploring Oregon or napping with their cats. She also enjoys collecting vintage video game systems and playing with them.
