Come be a part of history at our official ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by an open house! Hear from guest speakers and enjoy refreshments as you learn about how Chinook Hall will serve LBCC students in the Corvallis area.

Open House: 11:45 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Our formal program will include remarks from speakers including LBCC president Lisa Avery, OSU President Becky Johnson, Corvallis Chamber of Commerce President Simon Date, and others!

Enjoy a performance from the LBCC choir and be a part of this historic milestone as we cut the ribbon on Chinook Hall. Following our ceremony, enjoy tours, refreshments information and more.

The new Chinook Hall is designed for degree seeking students, who may be dual-enrolled with Oregon State University, to have a dedicated spot for their education. The building will feature updated science labs, collaborative meeting spaces and community gathering rooms. There will also be a substantial increase in the amount of parking available for students. With the opening of this new building, the original Benton Center will now have more room to support the growth and interests of the community through community education classes.
