Summer meals programs are funded by the USDA and designed to provide kids and teens ages 18 and under with free, healthy meals during the summer months when school is out of session. Each summer, Oregon hosts summer meal sites for kids 1-18 all over the state. There is no application or registration required to receive a meal. Families do not have to show proof of income.

Most women in the United States do not meet the recommendations for healthy nutrition and weight before and during pregnancy. Women and health care providers often ask what a healthy diet for a pregnant woman should look like. The topic has been the subject of much debate, and has produced inconsistent and sometimes confusing advice for pregnant women who are trying to do the right thing.

The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) is rolling out a Universally offered Newborn Nurse Home Visiting program in Oregon.  For more information please see https://www.familyconnectsoregon.org/. The Oregon Health Authority values the input of community members on these rules.  The Rules Advisory Committee will have two slots available for community members.
