The Early Learning Hub utilized the one-time Birth-to-Five Literacy Fund to host a Home Visitor Book Fair on June 5 and 6 at Linn-Benton Community College. We invited Jennifer Butler-Brown, a bookseller specializing in diverse books for kids and educators. She brought down a huge inventory of books, curated to help our home visitors find the tools they need to help every child find acceptance, enrichment, and joy in reading.

Oregon’s Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is updating its food package today for participants to enhance nutrition and expand choice for families statewide.

Starting July 1, 2025, the Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care (DELC) will begin licensing a new type of certified program designed for children to learn, play, and grow—primarily outdoors in nature.
