2-1-1 Community Engagement Coordinator Job Opening
211info is hiring a Community Engagement Coordinator to build partnerships with health and social service providers in Linn, Benton, and Lincoln Counties. The core responsibilities of the position are to build relationships with nonprofits, government agencies, and other organizations in the service area; engage consumers and communities to improve health and human service systems, with a focus on equity and the social determinants of health; and to represent 211info at meetings and conduct presentations. The position is 20-32 hours per week, depending on funding availability.
Applicants should have 1-3 years' experience in outreach and demonstrate deep knowledge of Linn, Benton, and Lincoln communities, including culture, housing, health, early learning, and social service networks. The best candidates will have an understanding of the social determinants of health and strong commitment to equity within service delivery systems. Strong public speaking skills are necessary, and the Coordinator must have a reliable car and auto insurance and the ability to travel frequently. The position pays $20.42 an hour plus mileage. A monthly health insurance stipend and other benefits are provided when hours are at 30 or more per week.
