Darkness to Light: Stewards of Children is an award winning child sexual abuse prevention training that teaches adults how to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. The training teaches five tangible and proactive steps that can be taken to protect children. The training combines video modules with facilitator-led discussion. Keeping Children Safe in the Digital Age empowers and equips adults to keep children safe online with regards to all forms of current technology: social media, internet use, video gaming and more. The training covers current digital trends and online risks for children, teaches adults how to participate in children’s technology experiences and how to communicate proactively with them about the internet. The training additionally shares helpful resources and instructions for using parental controls and filtering/monitoring software to protect children from inappropriate content. Other topics covered include: cyberbullying, online predators, exposure to adult content, screen time and internet addiction. Appropriate for anyone who is a caregiver or works with children!
